There are many people that enjoy RVing and camping. If you travel in an RV it is like you are traveling in your own home with all your own stuff surrounding you. It can be very comforting. And campers are typically a bit adventurous, relying on almost no amenities. Camping or RVing has other benefits as well. Mainly, it can be much more affordable than staying in a hotel. However, Key West is a tiny island so RV parking and campsite are limited. And because it is not permitted to park overnight on residential streets in Key West, alongside US1 anywhere up and down the Keys, or in public parking lots and shopping centers, making reservations ahead of time is extremely important. There are a few options on the island of Key West, and if you don’t mind staying in the Lower Keys just a short drive from Key West there are a few more options available to you as well.
