Key West Holiday Events

There are a few things happening on our island this week and next. Some are holiday related and others are not. But they are all interesting! Definitely something for everyone happening this time of year!

On December 27th and 28th is the 51st Annual Key West House and Garden Tour. Tickets are $25 each and tours of particular historical buildings are provided. However, you must provide your own transportation to and from each house. With parking being so limited this time of year, that can be a challenge. So, I suggest either walking if you have a good pair of shoes, cabbing it, or bicycling is you are nimble enough.

From December 27th to the 31st the Florida Keys Art Guild will be having a festival at Bayview Park. Artists from all over will be displaying their works, everything from jewelry to photography to sculpture and more. This will take place daily from 10 am to 5 pm.

On December 29th and 30th the Key West Pops Orchestra is putting on Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Show starts at 7:30 at St Paul’s Episcopal Church on Duval Street.

And who can forget New Year’s Eve?! Different celebrations take place all along Duval Street. And several restaurants are offering special menus for dinner that evening. The Pier House is having live music dancing, and dinner starting at 7pm. The Casa Marina typically does a fixed price buffet on the beach. ANd places like Michael’s, Rooftop Cafe, and Nine One Five will have special menus as well.
