Our list comprises of places that are actually in Key West proper so that can include Duvall Street, Stock Island, new and old town all the way up to Big Coppit Key. Our top 10 Key West restaurants list varies from all sorts of restaurants. It could include bar and grill, fine dining, food trucks and breakfast places. They are places that have just stood out in all of the Key West restaurant reviews that we have made throughout the years.

Top Ten Key West Restaurants

Red Shoe Island Bistro is a favorite for seafood lovers. Everything on the menu is amazing in this casual yet sophisticated restaurant open for dinner.

The Docks – The place for seafood located on Stock Island. The seafood is the best on the island with a great view and decent service.

Cafe Sole is my personal favorite fine dining restaurant in Key West. I love the atmosphere, the service and the food. Try the pasta with clams or any fish dish and I promise you will not be disappointed!

Kaya Island Eats offers some amazing island fusion cuisine and fun, tasty cocktails as well. The owner, Scott, pays attention to every detail here making for an amazing experience.

Banana Cafe is a favorite for breakfast, lunch or dinner located right on Duval Street in Key West. This little French cafe does it all very well.

Bagatelle does amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner. My favorite part about eating here, besides the delicious food and drinks, is the people watching on Duval Street.

DJ’s Clam Shack is literally a shack on Duval Street with some of the best seafood on the island. Of course the clams are great, but I just love the shrimp and the conch fritters here.

El Meson de Pepe’s makes the list for a multitude of reasons. Not only is the Cuban food here delicious, but the location on Mallory Square is perfect and the building the houses the restaurant is not only historic but a museum for Cuban Conch (Key West) heritage. Plus, every evening just before sunset a live Salsa band plays and dancing takes over outside.

Louie’s Backyard is a foodie’s dream location. The food is sourced locally when at all possible and the views of the Atlantic are amazing!

Origami is our choice for sushi in Key West. Located in Duval Square with ample parking, this little spot has indoor and outdoor seating. And if sushi isn’t your thing, they also have tempura and salads that will satisfy.

Yes there are other great restaurants in Key West, we will list them here when we feel that they make the top ten restaurants Key West.
