Key West Private Sunset Sails

Marquesa is the largest ship in the fleet.

Key West is renowned for its beautiful sunsets. So it is no surprise that one of the most frequent request that I get from clients is for a private sunset sail. We have had everything from couples looking for a romantic evening alone on the water to wedding parties and corporate groups looking to entertain guests and VIP’s.

Sebago has four main vessels, each with different capacities and rates available for private sunset sails with or without catering, but they also offer private charters for day sails, snorkeling adventures, and water sports packages.

The Marquesa is the largest sailing catamaran in the fleet. At 69′ long with a beam of 36′, this boat has over 2300 square feet of deck space and can accommodate up to 125 passengers on a sunset sail and up to 80 passengers for charters incorporating water sports such as snorkeling. This vessel is

not only beautiful, but it also provides a smooth and comfortable ride. There is plenty of seating both in the shade or in the sun. Two bathrooms, fresh water shower, and satellite radio makes a charter on this boat even more

pleasant.

Cubed was the first commercial sailing catamaran in Key West. At 60′ long and with a beam of 38′ she can accommodate up to 65 passengers on a sunset sail and 55 people on any charters incorporating water sports activities. She is also very shallow, drawing only 3.5 feet of water. Like Marquesa, Cubed also has plenty of seating both in the shade or in the sun, two bathrooms, fresh water shower, and satellite radio.

Pelican is the smaller sailing catamaran of the fleet, perfect for groups of 2 to 20. She is 41′ long and 23′ wide. She is equipped with a bathroom, a freshwater shower, and satellite radio.

The Appledore V is an authentic tall ship. She carries two masts, and at 65′ long she can carry up to 24 passengers. She is equipped with a bathroom.

While some of the private charters include beer, wine, sangria, and margaritas, others may include  breakfast and/or lunch, snacks or fruit and cheese platters. And catering can also be added to most options for an additional fee. Rates for private charters start at $1,200 plus tax and gratuity.

Not looking for a private sunset sail, but still want to enjoy it in a group setting? No problem. Sebago along with a select few other companies, also offer per person sunset sailing trips nightly.
