You are on vacation in Key West, so what better way to pamper yourself than with a relaxing day at the spa? I recently spent my birthday with Bebe at the Pier House Caribbean Spa getting a manicure and pedicure. While the cost of the services here are a bit more expensive than at the typical nail salons, it is highly worth it on special occasions for the unique experience.
Once I checked in at the reception desk, I was led to the Relaxation Room which is a nicely appointed waiting room filled with comfortable seating, magazines, and fruit water. I was also offered champagne by the staff to further enhance the day’s relaxation.
After a few minutes of waiting Bebe came into the room to retrieve me and I followed her to the nail salon area located just behind the check in area. The setting was very modern and clean yet calming in decor. There are only two nail stations and two pedicure stations so while there is not total privacy necessarily afforded to you, the semi-private atmosphere is enjoyable. And it is perfect for a couple or a girlfriends day!
Bebe did a great job with both my manicure and pedicure and she was pleasant to talk with. And if you already had your nails done prior to vacation, you can always enjoy one of the other services offered here such as massage, facial, body wrap, or hair treatment.
