The Gallery on Greene

Today, our Saturday morning breakfast crew decided to visit the Breakfast Club Too. Service was awesome, and we enjoyed the Motown music playing in the backgound while we chowed down on some amazing food: breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and some of the strongest coffee on the island.

After completely stuffing ourselves, we went right next door to the Gallery on Greene to look around. We were actually beckoned there by an adorable shepherd named Quinn that was staring at us out of the gallery window. He was very sweet and kept us company as we browsed the eclectic art pieces that the gallery houses.

This amazing space has art by a number of artists; you can learn more about each one on the gallery’s website. You will find everything from realism to abstract art here, much of it with a Cuban flair, perfect for Key West. My favorite pieces were by Priscilla Coote and Peter Vey.

Once you return to Key West, definitely check out Gallery on Greene, and maybe come home with a piece of art as a gorgeous souvenir. It is worth spending some time here if you are even slightly interested in or appreciate art.
