This will be the 22nd year that Key West celebrates the opening of lobster season by throwing the best party of the summer. Thousands of lobster lovers come to Key West for four fun filled days and nights to eat and play in the Florida Keys sunshine.
Here are the main events…
THURSDAY AUGUST 9TH, 5PM – 8PM
LOBSTER BOIL AT THE ROOF 201 WILLIAM STREET ABOVE THE WATERFRONT BREWERY.
CHAMPAGNE SUNSET SAIL 2 HOUR SAIL INCLUDING BEER, WINE & CHAMPAGNE.
FRIDAY AUGUST 10TH, 1PM/8:30PM
REEF & RITAS 3 HOUR CATAMARAN SAIL AND SNORKEL.
DUVAL CRAWL JUST $20 FOR THE T-SHIRT, LANYARD & DRINK SPECIALS.
SATURDAY AUGUST 11TH, NOON – 11PM
STREET FAIR – ART, CRAFTS, MERCHANDISE AND OF COURSE, LOTS OF LOBSTER!
FREE CONCERT INTERSECTION OF DUVAL ST. AND GREENE STREET.
SUNDAY AUGUST 12TH, 11AM-2PM
LOBSTER BRUNCH – ENJOY A SUMPTUOUS LOBSTER BRUNCH AT FIRST FLIGHT – 301 WHITEHEAD STREET.
And when you have had enough lobster (is that even possible?), visitors can enjoy beaches, fishing charters, snorkeling trips to the reef, art galleries, shops and museums that dot the island.
It is very hot outside this time of year, so please remember to wear hats, lots of sunscreen, and stay hydrated while you are walking around Duval Street enjoying the festival.
