Key West’s Top Ten Places for Lunch

It is nice for me to take a break during the day, leave the office for a change of scenery, and grab a bite. Here are some of my favorites that you too can enjoy during your visit to Key West.

• Chico’s Cantina: My favorite lunch spot. The best chips and salsa I have ever tasted anywhere. Plus, Jeff and the rest of the staff are awesome. Favorites here for me are…everything!
• Hogfish Bar and Grill: The only restaurant that ALWAYS has hogfish on the menu! Try their signature Hogfish sandwich or my favorite, the stuffed hogfish. My husband enjoys the burgers, onion rings, and Cobb Salad. You can bring Fido too!
• Salute: Mostly, I love this place because it is on Higg’s Beach so I can watch the ocean as I enjoy a yummy salad or fish dish with a glass of wine. Since the owners of Blue Heaven took over, this place is always packed so be prepared to wait unless you get here early. Salute is also dog friendly!
• BO’s Fish Wagon: Looks like a dive but they have great fish sandwiches!!
• Jack Flats: Sports bar on Duval Street with very good food. And you can enjoy watching a game there too.
• Harbourview Cafe: located at the Pier House Resort not only has a great view of the water but delicious food. You can enjoy fresh seafood dishes, soups, salads, and a great burger too.
• Alonzo’s Oyster Bar: Located at the A&B marina, you can enjoy a seafood meal while overlooking the harbor and the beautiful boats that call A&B Marina home. This place is also frequented by locals for its happy hour.
• The Boat House: Also located at A&B Marina, they serve great salads and burgers. They also have a full bar.
• Dante’s: Located at Conch Harbor Marina, this restaurant and bar also has the added feature of a pool that patrons can use. Love the burger specials here. And so does Indiana Bones!
• Roostica Wood-fire Pizzeria: Bobby and Michelle Mangelli, owner of the Hogfish Bar and Grill, just opened Roostica. Delicious pizzas and other specialties are sure to make this another winning enterprise and another Stock Island dining gem. And they have a nice selection of wines and craft beers.
