Key West’s Top Ten Dinner Spots

I love going out for dinner! Especially when we have friends in town because sharing good food with friends makes for wonderful memories and a great time. Here are a few all time favorites of mine, in no particular order.

1. Benihana: Its dinner and a show when you come here! I have always been a fan of hibachi restaurants. The food prepared on the hibachi is so tasty, and if you prefer, they have a sushi bar now as well.
2. Bliss: located on Petronia Street, this small restaurant serves amazing Columbian food. Service is great and it is a nice departure from the more traditional fare served at other restaurants.
3. El Siboney: Bar none the best Cuban food on the island. And it is one of the best bargains as well. Four can eat here and be beyond full for about $50!
4. La Trattoria: The only place to get decent Italian food without coming to my personal residence. And with two locations; oceanside and downtown! Can’t beat that!
5. Commodore: My favorite dinner spot for special occasions. The steak and seafood dishes are wonderful. And it is right on the harbor!
6. Nine One Five: The best restaurant on Duval Street. Try their Tuna Dome appetizer and the Seafood Stew served with jasmine rice. YUMMY!
7. Ocean Grill: Wow! This Duval Square eatery has it all…great food, great service, and parking! Not to mention 16oz glasses of wine!
8. Origami: If you like sushi, this place is awesome. Located in Duval Square, there are indoor and outdoor seating options and this casual little eatery.
9. Seven Fish: This restaurant has amazing seafood dishes. Reservations are mandatory or you will wait, but even that is worth it.
10. Santiago’s Bodega: An awesome little tapas place. Food is really, really good. They have everything from steaks to seafood. I love that you can order several menu items and not be totally filled up. When I am being indecisive I come here.
