For the past couple of years, the biggest foodie event in Key West has been Bacchanalia. This competition of local celebrity chefs benefitting the Darrel Gwynn Foundation allows for celebrity judges, winemakers and journalists to mingle for a good cause.
This year, one of the competitors will be celebrity chef Adrianne Calvo from Miami, who is the star os Maximum Flavor on NBC and Chopped on the Food Network.
- The event will kick off on June 8th with the Culinary Death Match at the Hurricane Hole Marina. The cost to attend this event is $220 per person.
- On June 9th from 3 to 7 pm Rums of Puerto Rico Grand Tasting Village will be set up at Ricks on Duval Street. Unlimited spirits and burgers will be sampled and voted on. The price for this event is $69 per person.
- June 10th from 11:30 to 2pm the Hog’s Breathe will host Bulldogs Rum and BBQ. This event costs $50 per person.
