Key West Fourth of July 2021

After last year, everyone is ready to get out and celebrate! And what better time is there to enjoy our freedom again than Independence Day?! Key West is known as a party town, and this American holiday is happily celebrated here!

In tandem with the Fourth of July holiday are two Key West festivals, the Key Lime Festival and the Mermaid Festival. Both offer free and ticketed events, some family friendly while others are adult only. But you know that they will all be fun!

The Key Lime Festival takes place July 1 – 5, 2021. Enjoy four days of culinary events celebrating our famed island fruit, the Key Lime, such as the Key Lime Cocktail Sip & Stroll and the Key Lime Pie Hop.

The 2nd Annual Mermaid Festival runs July 1 – 5, 2021. This family friendly event is fun for mermaid enthusiasts from all around the world.

On the fourth of July, bring the whole family to the Patriotic Party by the Ed Knight Pier to enjoy food, music, and fireworks. Starting at 4:00 PM, pork sandwiches, burgers, soda, water and beer will be on sale. Or, get your tickets for the VIP Fireworks Dinner featuring a plated dinner by Catered Affairs, private cash bar, music, and prime view for the fireworks. Seating will begin at 6:00 PM.

Want to do your own thing? The fireworks are best viewed from Higgs Beach or Smathers Beach. Or, you can enjoy a sunset cruise to get a really great view from a different perspective. Join a group sunset sail or hire a private charter. Either way, these cruises sell out fast, so do not delay in booking!

So, now you have some options on things to do while visiting Key West for July 4, 2021.
