So I have found the Mecca for costume jewelry on the island. Jewelry Imposters has been open for about two years in the Searstown Shopping Plaza. The owners design a majority of the items stocked, and the pieces are modeled after designers like Cartier, Gucci, and Harry Winston.
Everything is extremely tasteful and if I were a jewelry wearing type person I would go broke in this place, even though the prices are very reasonable. The proprietors, Carl Stewart and Ron Paras, are very welcoming and are happy to help in any way. They also repair jewelry, so if you have a favorite piece of costume jewelry that has a broken link or a missing stone these are the guys are happy to help you out. Besides jewelry they also have a wide variety of sunglasses and hair accessories.
