For those of you that may be in Key West currently you have probably noticed an influx of BIG boats coming onto the island via trailer. These boats are painted up colorfully and that is to draw attention to themselves since they are going to be competing this week in the 31st Annual Key West World Championship Races.
This past Sunday, Race Village opened and these boats have been on display to the public ever since. And today is the first of the races that depart from Truman Annex, with the races concluding on this Sunday. So an entire week of big, bad boats on display!

Below you can take a look at the course layout. Great viewing points would be the Ocean Key Resort, the Pier House Resort, the Westin, the Hyatt, and Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. You can also charter your own boat and watch the races while on the water! If you do visit the pits and check out the boats like the Miss Geico, make sure you bring your cameras. The MTIs, Skaters, Phantoms, Fountains, and other gorgeous boats makes will be lined up for you to drool at.
