There will be many Key West restaurants open for Christmas. Some will have holiday specials. Also, be sure to figure out what type of cuisine you want before you decide where to go. But again, and I cannot stress this enough. MAKE RESERVATIONS if possible. Some places are reservation only for this very busy holiday. However, you will find some more casual places that will remain open and reservations may not be needed.

Holiday Village & BeLighted Bike Ride is happening on December 5, 2025 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Tickets are $20, through the Wesley House.
Santa at the Shops – December 6, 2025 from 11am until 3pm. Join Santa as he makes a stop at his favorite place in Key West, the Shops at Mallory Square. The jolly man in red is setting up shop at the Key West Cooking Show from 11 – 2 for kids of all ages. Bring your camera and your wish list!
Create a Ceramic Nativity Set on December 6, 2025 from 1 – 3:30pm. Instructors will guide you using simple templates, and the sky’s the limit for creativity. This traditional art form has been created throughout the world and there are many options for design. A great project to work on with another family member. Cookies and hot tea provided. Bring a favorite holiday cookie if you’d like. Class includes all your creative supplies and firings. Please wear clothing you can get dirty. Key West Christmas Parade at 7pm on December 6, 2025. Experience the magic of the Key West Hometown Holiday Parade! Join locals and visitors as festive floats, lively bands, and dazzling lights fill Duval Street with holiday cheer. Perfect for families and friends, this beloved annual event captures the spirit of the season in the Florida Keys.
Eaton Street Christmas Stroll – This Free event on December 7, 2025 is a great way to celebrate the season with an afternoon of music, art, and island cheer as Old Town comes alive for the annual Eaton Street Stroll. Presented by Keys Choral Arts, this festive walkable event features performances, open houses, and holiday hospitality at cultural hotspots along Eaton and Duval. The Stroll kicks off at Key West United Methodist Church with a 3:45pm concert (600 Eaton St), then continues to: Tropic Cinema – Christmas short film (416 Eaton St), Key West Theater (512 Eaton St) – Live Concert Performance 5:30-7:30 and Open House, Key West Fine Wines (700 Eaton St), The Oldest House & Gardens (322 Duval St), Keys Choral Arts @ The Studios of Key West – Two concerts: 5:00 & 6:45pm (533 Eaton St), Key West Woman’s Club – Bahama Village Community Orchestra at 6pm, Williams Hall (729 Fleming St), Poco Pelo Chic (627 Eaton St).
Blais Sleighs Special Prix Fixe Dinner – December 8 , 2025. Chef Richard Blais is heading south to Key West for two festive nights at Four Flamingos and you’re invited. Menu features: Seasonal soup, Entrée selection, including new menu additions, A specialty dessert cocktail, Sunday & Monday Night. $89++ per guest. Great Gingerbread Build on December 13, 2025 from 11am until 2pm at the Truman Little White House. Join us for a festive, hands-on gingerbread house building experience paired with complimentary hot cocoa. Crackers and a variety of candies, icings, and edible décor will be available to build the ultimate Key West gingerbread house. The event is free but reservations are encouraged.
Key West Lighted Boat Parade – December 13, 2025 – Local businesses and residents put up the lights for this really fun parade on the water in the harbor of Key West. Get in the spirit and watch from land near the Schooner Wharf or Hire a Lighted Boat Parade Charter and see all the incredible boats up close and personal. Boats are expected to depart the Historic Seaport around 7:30 PM, after a 7 PM check-in time.
Snowy Days Children’s Holiday Concert – December 14, 2025 from NOON until 2pm. Join us for a magical holiday celebration at the Garden! Snowy Days is a joyful, family-friendly event filled with music, crafts, treats, and winter wonder—all with a tropical twist. This 4th annual gathering is designed especially for children and families to enjoy the holiday spirit together. $5 per child and $10 per family. Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Garden.
Christmas on the Farm is a great kids event. Visit December 14, 2025 from 1 – 3pm. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
Santa Visits the Hemingway Home & Museum on December 20, 2025! 12:15 to 2:15pm is when the jolliest elf will be visiting. Bring the whole family for a festive holiday stop at the iconic Hemingway Home. Santa will be here for photos, smiles, and holiday cheer among our famous feline friends! Free Admission for Local Residents from Key West to Marathon – receive free entry with a valid local ID.
Running of the Elves – December 20, 2025. Are you ready to get your Elf on this holiday season? Grab your festive holiday costumes and Run, Walk, Stroll or Jingle all the Way and see the twinkling holiday lights as you wind your way through the streets of Key West. We will start at the beautiful Lobster Trap Christmas Tree on Margaret Street and end with a Christmas post-race party at Dante’s Key West Pool Bar. Make this event your new favorite tradition with charity partner Reef Relief and help bring together the community in a whimsical display of Elf cheer. Not Ready for a 5K. No Problem. Check out the Jingle Bell Mile. The Jingle Bell Mile is an untimed walk/stroll for those who aren’t ready for a 5K.
