February 6, 2020 – El Siboney Cuban Restaurant has been around since the 1980’s. Their Catherine Street location in downtown Key West is the original, but a second restaurant opened on Stock Island in the building that was home to the Rusty Anchor restaurant for so many years.
We often have lunch here as it is quick and easy. The Stock Island location is much larger, so it does not get as crowded as the one downtown. If going for dinner, I always get the sangria. Otherwise, they make a really good cafe con leche that I usually order on my work days.
You can order Cuban style pork, beef, seafood, and chicken dishes. They also have sandwiches and weekly lunch specials for a great price. My favorite is the Arroz con Pollo which is their Friday special. I have never had a bad meal at either location.
There are so many places to eat in Key West. Before you decide where to go, be sure to read my Key West restaurant reviews; check out our restaurant review section of this blog.
