Key West Food Truck Series: Paradise Seafood Coffee Shop

Today, food trucks are a huge part of the restaurant industry. And, Key West is no different. Lately, it seems that every time I turn around there is another food truck serving up food on our island.

This morning, my husband had to bring a boat over to be serviced at Murray Marine. And, since I had not eaten anything yet when I picked him up, we decided to grab a bite. Luckily, located behind Murray Marine on Stock Island is Paradise Seafood Coffee Shop, my latest find.

First, if you plan on enjoying your food here, the set up is great with picnic tables and waterfront views. Second, they have a menu filled with breakfast and lunch options with everything from eggs to seafood to meat. Third, the prices are very fair, especially by Key West standards.

After some consideration, I ordered a small con leche and egg and cheese toast came which came to just $10, plus tip. And, it was done in a jiffy. At the moment, I am glad I only got a small con leche or I would be bounding off the walls. Plus, the sandwich was delicious and it was the perfect size for us to share.

Now, if you are staying on Stock Island, this would be a great place to get an affordable breakfast or lunch. However, if staying downtown, it would be a bit out of the way. But, this would be a convenience stop if heading this way for a charter that departs from this area, such as Dream Catcher Charters.

When to Go

Currently, Paradise Seafood and Coffee Shop is open six days a week starting at 7:30am, closed on Sundays.
