  • lifeguards are not present at any of the island’s beaches

 Key West is a subtropical island.  It is the closest point to the equator in the continental USA. That makes our weather here nearly perfect everyday!

In the summertime one can expect temperatures in the 90’s F; however, the humidity is high so it feels much warmer on most days. In the winter months the temperature is generally in the 60’s to 70’s F, but it can get down into the 40’s F and up into the 80’s F.

Key West does have a rainy season. Generally, it is dry December through April and rainy May through October. However, the rain showers experienced in Key West are typically scattered and short lived, providing a nice respite from the summertime heat.
